I saw Sinaron S 210mm MC for sell! The seller said that is APO version, but on the barrel there was nothing about that. So what is going on here? If this is APO version probably I will buy this lens.

Best wishes in 2007!!!

Hi Michal,

As far as I know, the Sinaron S 210 MC were/are the Rodenstock Apo Sironar N MC lenses though perhaps also the Rodenstock Sironar N MC lenses (which I believe is the same lens as the Apo Sironar N MC prior to the labeling change). I am not sure however if the Sinaron lenses are just rebadged or they are like the Linhof select versions of the same lenses.

They are APO they just don't label them as such. When the lens companies stuck the APO label on their modern symmetrical lenses it was just for marketing purposes rather than any design change.
