That's an interesting item. I prefer Polidori's work to Soth's, but that's just my opinion.

Generally, I prefer "no people" shots for environmental architecture, but occasionally it helps when trying to describe the scale of a project. Grant Mumford's shots in the book "Symphony", which is the official document of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, adds a single person to several of the photos to great effect.
