Hi guys, the editor of Orion Magazine is looking for this image to illustrate an article:
"Champion trees in the redwood forests of Northernmost CA. Doesn't
have to be the whole thing - could 'represent' those majestic trees.
There are lots of great nature images I've seen - I'm looking for
something surprising."
I recall seeing someone's work on this forum-- it was a vertical image of a huge redwood trunk surrounded by small aspen trees; really gorgeous image that I think might satisfy the "something surprising" aspect of this assignment.
Does anyone remember whose work this might be? And maybe someone else might have a different kind of redwood image also? Let me know by private e-mail (cj@chrisjordan.com) and I'll hook you up with the Orion people. It's a great magazine that reaches a wide audience of smart people.
