I took apart my older quickload holder to remove a stuck clip and can't get it back together. It seems to line up fine, but there is a rubber coated circular rod roller that won't fit back in to the opposite side of the holder. Does anyone know where I can get a schematic or have any advice here? Also, the holder is not exactly brand new- I've exposed about 1700 sheets in it over the last five years. Is this pretty much the life expectancy of a quickload holder? I am using my new one for now, but it's nice to have a backup.

Are we talking a Fuji holder? I had the same problem and lost a little spring in the field trying to fix it. I screwed around with it for weeks and finally gave up and sent it in for repair.

Yes, the Fuji quickload holder. Anyone have any idea as to how long the usual lifespan of one of these is?

That one was barely used. I bought a back up and have run many hundreds of sheets through it with no problems but occasional dirt.
