I'm planning a trip to this area next week, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations on locations. I know there are some lighthouses and fall color should be about peak, any other suggestion would be helpful.

Years ago I spent some time on Washington Island, which is just off the Northern end of Door Peninsula. I took some great pictures with my Rollei. I suggest spending some time there.

They have 4 nice state parks. All charge a fee. $10/day for out of state cars. The Whitefish Bay Farm Gallery (on the road to Whitefish Bay SP) has some nice photography displayed. Expect crowds especially in towns on the weekend. I've always found the wind blowing strong on my Oct visits so have gone to images that use this motion. Lot's of great restaurants if you are into that sort of thing.
