View Full Version : Arca Swiss - support nonexisting
Ordered an Arca Swiss camera from a very reputable dealer in the UK on February 28th. Since they were out of stock, they had to order from Arca. Big mistake.... . - follow up calls revealed that the order had not been processed by Arca at al l, because key Arca personnel was on vacation. The dealer was then told that the camera would be shipped from Switzerland immediately. Another 2 weeks pass... t urns out camera was still not shipped from Switzerland, some part missing. As of today, still waiting...
Sorry for posting, but I had to vent my frustration. Hope, Arca reads this. (The ir cameras are fine, if it weren't so frustrating to deal with them).
Hang in there...it'll be worth the wait.

Andreas, I had to make three phone calls, send a fax and wait 5 weeks to receive simply their brochure recently, and I am just a few kilometres from them. So you are not too bad!
But I forgive you, dear Arca-Swiss. The lady on the phone is such a pleasure to speak to, and also, you where in the middle of your move.
There is no "key ARCA personal necessary" to process an order? (where did you g et this information) We will contact you directly concerning the delivery delay.

I apologize for my posting, it's just that I am very impatient (and very eager too!) to get my hands on this camera! Arca has called and the camera is apparently on it's way. Thanks Arca! Thanks Robert!
April 12th - I received my ARCA SWISS camera and I have to say, this is one smooth piece of equipment. Had never seen one in the stores, yet it surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to take it out into the field. And "yes, it was worth the wait"!!!
