I started shooting 4x5 black and white shortly after Katrina, and have kept at it since. Those of you who are interested might find these a compliment to Chris's work - while he concentrated on New Orleans, I have been documenting the entire region, focusing on the effect of the storm on the human infrastructure and on the land itself.
