Has anyone out there had any experience with the Delta line of darkroom sinks? In particular I am interested in the convertible model. Any info would be appreciated.

I have the longer convertible sink. Bought it 8 years ago as a fast solution when I moved to the US. It gets the job done, and the convertible feature is handy. I have 2 major complaints:
The ribbed surface works for trays, but is a nightmare with bottles etc. I put a sheet of acrylic (fluorescent light box cover from Home Depot) over them - it just fits the non-convertible part.
The stand they sell for it is nearly useless as delivered. With any weight in the trays, if you lean against the sink, it will contort into a parallelogram - permanently, or until you push it back. I solved the problem by installing 2-4 diagonal aluminum rod trusses on each side and the center plane (18 rods alltogether). I put threads directly into the legs and screwed the aluminum bars onto them at 45°. Now it looks like a bad model of the Golden Gate bridge, but is stable.

I have the 5 foot commercial sink. Was worth the price for me not to built my own sink. It is far lighter than anything I would have built.
I did not get the stand, I just put the sink on top of a piece of plywood on a shelf and cut a hole for the drain, this is probably more sturdy than the stand, much cheaper too. But this would be harder for the covertible sink. You could cut out an opening in a piece of plywood for the convertible sink to make your own stand-cabinet.
