I am wondering, do we have a sub-forum here to post one's work?

We don't have a gallery or a critique sub-forum, as such.

Is it possible to start one?
I'd say don't worry about storing the images on the forum server, we can always ask the members to use service like tinypic.com or imageshack.us for hosting low resolution copy of their work, or they can link directly from their own site.

Setting up a gallery is certainly technically possible. However, the historical leaning of a majority of members here has not been in that direction for a variety of reasons. The software does allow for both image uploads and image links to other repositories, however. Thus, nothing prevents an individual from sharing an image - either for the purpose of illustrating a technical issue or even requesting comments or critiques. The former (technical illustrations) is probably the more typical here.

OK. Say if I want to post my work for critiques, where should I post it?

The "On Photography" sub-forum is probably the most appropriate spot for that.

I use photobucket.com as a host. Auto HTML generator lets you insert an image anywhere you like, on just about any kind of forum. It's easy to use. Upload to the host, generate HTML and img tags, copy and paste. Done.
