What denisity (in terms of a densitometer reading) is best for Zone VIII when pr inting on POP paper?

You are going to find that "normal" negatives will print like mud. Give your negatives at least an extra stop of exposure and develop at N+1 or N+2. You want high contrast, and Zone VIII should be beyond 1.8 (perhaps as high as 2.0 to 2.4).
