For those itnerested in Sugimoto's work htere is some good info on the big show at the hirshhorn

http://www.hirshhorn.si.edu/sugimoto/index.html

Including three MP3 files of Sugimotos lecture, tour of the exhibition and an interview

they are quite long (nearly an hour for the talk) - and he's also very funny...

Thanks Tim,

As always you post interesting information for all of us to read, how do you do it? :-)

I have not had time to listen to the Sugimoto lectures (and not sure I will) but I enjoyed what I read and learned something new, so thanks again.

well - at the moment I'm busy photographing an digitizing a rather large (and unique) collection of chinese art and textiles - so while the computer is busy running through big scans and processes I get time to roam through all the photo sites and blogs... :-)
