I've been looking for a long time for a way to transport 8x10 film holders in the field. Something that is insulated for the summer heat and can take ice packs without the risk of ruining the film and holders if there is a leak.

I think I've found it and wanted to share:

Just got two in. Each case holds 10 8x10 holders lying down in the lower compartment. Also has room in the upper compartment for a Harrison 8x10 changing tent. Has pockets for ice packs with separators from the main compartment. It's insulated top and bottom, and includes a handle and detachable shoulder strap. Plus there are pockets for small stuff for quick stashing of things.

All for $45 each.

I have no affiliation with this company. I do not own any of the company's stock.

Duluth makes really solid stuff. I use their tool bags all the time, never wore one out yet. This looks handy if you carry your camera over the shoulder on a tripod, you can stuff the top with lenses in lens wraps plus all the other junk.

I use a 15" computer laptop sleeve. There's no frame, so it collapses fully but it is sufficiently padded. Mine has a velcro enclosure and I can fit 3 holders in there comfortably, or 4 tightly. I drop it into my large LowePro shoulder bag and go.
