I've got a Pentax Spotmeter V that has a failed viewfinder illumination light. I think the little "grain o'wheat" bulb fell out of it's holder years ago. I would like to disassemble the meter and replace the light bulb. I've removed the 2 screws on the bottom plate (battery holder/tripod mount) and removed the dials from the side until there is just the mounting plate for the calculator dial remaining on the body. And I can remove the lens.
Now what?

Seems as though there is a screw under the serial number label.

I have an old Pentax spotmeter - maybe they aer the same.
There is 1 screw under the label on the back of the handle. Remove this one.
Unscrew the eyepiece (CCW) and remove the retaining ring with a pin wrench.
Now carefully pry the bottom of the plastic back away from the handle - there's a small tab right at the top-front of the plastic cover and it won't release until you have pulled the cover out about 1/2"
Reassembly is the reverse.
I have had mine apart too often chasing bad switch connections and poor solder joints :(

Thanks Jane and Eric - I'll give it another try.
