I would like to know if anybody of you ever used the 9 1/2 x 12 inches contact frame manufactured by fineartphotosupply. Is it really the best in the market as they advertise ? I am attracted by it for it uses the paper format that is ready available here in Europe (the 8x10 is not a standard format here).

I use the same frame when I print my 8x10 negatives. Great frame. My only complaint is that the screws holding the wooden springs in place tend to come loose. I went ahead and replaced the screws with bolts and have had no problem ever since. Very tight pressure with the wooden springs. You do need to be careful and use furniture wax on the wooden springs prior to using. That will cut down on the splinters.
