Hi - I am probably not technically a large-format photographer, shooting a Silvestri H and a Horseman SW612 - but I do deal with larger-format lenses and shutters all the time because that's what my cameras use for 6x12, given both coverage issues and shift capabilities. So I will probably read a lot more than I write here, but so far in lurking, the optical discussions have been very informative!

Welcome from another Silvestri H (for Hermes - the lightning god of speed in Greek mythology) photographer.

There aren't many of us athough there are many cross movements specialists here. It certainly is large format with the 5x4" film back - welcome to zero movements on the Schneider 47mm XL f4.6 helicoid focussing!
