Very nice! Classic Spanish features.

Gonna have to get me a bottle of Rodinal. I think I sold it like at least a decade ago when I went through a divorce and sold my entire darkroom.

My first shot with newly acquired paragon 7 1/2" 4.5 lens. Anyone know how old these are? I kinda like the look of older lenses. Something about "too sharp and contrasty" is just too much for me.

No clue if shutter is accurate, but I metered to about 1/2 sec at wide open with a 10" bellows. So I gave it a little more like 1 sec.

Thanks for all the tips with wet scanning this month. Will have to look into it. Here's an 8x10 recently, gosh darn I have scratches!!! UGHHHH. I was speeding too fast and I switched a tray for presoak with something else. I usually never get scratches so not sure what happened. I think I need to slow down my 8x10 stuff and do 1 sheet at a time until I figure out where I f* up!!

Anyway, here's my GF stepbrother. He's actually quite a prolific NYC photographer. Never ever home, always somewhere traveling doing mostly fashion.

Disregard the scratches and stuff. Hahaha. Think of it as an 8x10 holga.

Eric, it was totally the second one! Or possible he was just irritated at his dad for dragging him away from YouTube to pose for pictures for him :)

Thanks for the comments, the vignette is caused by the 105mm step down adapter that I use to fit a 100mm square Lee 85b colour correction filter in order to shoot the E64T in daylight.

I should really come up with a better solution.

wow...

this is just unique ! This work contains a number of factors that are very scarce when considered individually, and when joined altogether... it is unique art.

I can only encourage you to pursue in this direction, soon or later this should lead to universal aclaim. I'm not an art expert at all, but it is not necessary to be one in order to recognize the impressive value of this works.

Also I'm very happy that the medium is LF color film, this should encourage other artists to follow this way.

Thank you Pere! Although I do not know you, I can tell you that this means a lot to me! This is my first body of photo work I have ever made, so I am so glad you like them! I agree that I just need to get these photos in front of the right people, but how to do that, I'm not entirely sure. Regardless, thank you so much for your encouragement. Sometimes it takes people like you to take an artist through his own doubt and be the spur that says "keep going!" Very much appreciated.

Yes wide open @ f/5.6 - shoulda probably shot it at f/8. I exposed this at ASA100 but it was a tad over, probably needed 160 - the film had been frozen from new.

Love this shot! I just bought this 165/8 lens and I'm curious, is that how much vignetting the lens naturally has (I hope not!) or did you add a vignette in post?

No, the vignette is due to a compromise in filtering. I have a lee 100mm 85b filter that I mount in a lee filterhood, unfortunately my 165/8 has a 105mm filter ring so the consequence is some vignette. I'm thinking about picking up a Lee SW150 filter set but dam they are expensive!

Just natural light from 2 patio doors rear and left

When I was assisting in a commercial studio (yeah, we used LF back before digital for print media), we just taped filters to front of the lenses. We rolled them up like a spliff, put them on the edges of the lens like around 12, 3, 6 and 9'oclock position, and stuck the filter right on it. Hey if it works, it ain't stupid right?

Wow. Still, that looks like it is going very far into the image, more so than just what the mattebox and filter seems like it would do. Have you shot any pictures on that lens without the filter, and if so, has the vignetting gone away?

going a bit OT still (sorry!), but yes, I'm pretty sure this one shot on C41 was with the 165:
