Been a while on the forum, quick question. I just picked up a 150mm Xenar 4.5 on a synchro compur shutter. Seller said the shutter is sticky on under 100 speeds.

Can I unscrew this lens and put it on a Copal 1 shutter? I'm puretty sure I have lenses on a 0 and 1 Copal. Lens coming next week. Just want to know what to expect.

I'm also off FB so not sure if Flutot has a big back log. But any other people I can consider sending the Compur to work on? I guess if it does fit a Copal 1, I can wait for Flutot's backlog, won't be in a hurry if it fits a Copal.

For service of a No. 1 Compur I can recommend Henry Paine in Stockton CA: http://www.henrypaine.com In my experience his turn around is something like one-two weeks. Plus having the original shutter repaired would avoid having to deal with the aperture scale problem.

Got the lens. Shutter does stick. I have a 210 Graphic Kowa on a Copal 1 but old lens has aperture scale on a sticky tape with lines on it (yeah, DIY aperture scale). I'll check out Henry Paine. Thanks!!!
