I picked up a large format camera a few years ago. I am not sure what it is so I figured I would ask around here to see if anyone knows.
There is a metal tab that has been tacked to the frame when you remove the front standard. It says "Crown 2 Germany". After a lengthy Google search, I wound up watching videos of how to teach a penguin how to speak German...In other words, I wasn't able to find anything. The 'mounts' on the bottom are what are throwing me off and cannot find anything that resembles it other than a monorail type camera, but they all seem newer than this.
The ground glass, I assume, is not original to the camera.
When I picked it up, there was a box of 8x10 dry plates that came with it.
If anyone has an idea on what it could be, please let me know. I would really like to shoot with it someday.
