How to shoot food

Nice article. Several things come to mind that I didn't notice on a fast reading:

1) Difficulties of shooting food on location, especially in restaurants. The absolute necessity of scouting the location in advance to insure taht your equipment (especially available lenses) match the shooting space and distances available.

2) Some discussion of when you want to shoo the real food and when and how and what to use for substitutes when the real thing is not the best choice.

Umm...it was Puffed Rice and/or Puffed Wheat. And it was "Shot from guns".

Why can I remember that cereal slogan from 35 years ago yet I can't remember what I went into the other room for?
