Has anybody tried this combination?
If so, what size hulster are you using?

Is this a boxers or briefs question? ;-)

I have not tried this combination but know a few people who have.

An easy thing to do is find a leather worker in your town ( I live in the West where we seem to still have people who make custom saddles and such) and have a holster made. It should not be too expensive.

Also, an idea is to look for a small point and shoot padded case that can go on your belt. I use an old Lowe case that fits mine nice and won't be mistaken for a weapon (not a good thing these days). Also, Crumpler makes some nice small cases that use a Velcro attachement for the belt so you don't need to undo your belt when you want to put it on or take it off.

Anyway, just an idea.

Have a great day.

Domenico,

I've got a cordura nylon holster with a velcro strap. I'm not sure what model of pistol it was made for, but it fits nicely. I bought it at a flea market from a vendor who was selling holsters and firearms. He laughed when I told him that I wanted it to put my light meter in! I think I paid five or six dollars for it. It has a spring-steel belt clip that slides over your belt.

When I told this same story on photonet (before this forum was at this site) I was lambasted by several, saying that it would appear I was carrying a gun. Actually, I think the big leather holster that's sold by ZoneVI draws much more attention!

Maybe there's a flea market near you, or maybe a military surplus store that you could take your meter to to try to find a good fit.

Good luck.

I have the Zone VI holster for mine... does draw attention... and security guards (albequeque was the worst) in airports don't quite know what to make of it most of the time... (no sir...it is not a ray gun).

But it does make it handy to use. Any more stuff on my belt and my pants will come down tho.

"(albequeque was the worst)"

Albuquerque can be very difficult for many things, crime, heat, drought etc. but it is hardest on spellers.
