Height of bellows for 11x14

Hello,

can someone give me a rough estimation about the height of a folded bellows for 11x14 ? I am thinking about a DIY field camera in 11x14 and need some idea, how deep the camera back needs to be so that the camera actually folds. Bellows length could be 30 in or so, but I would be interested in any measurements.

Materials?

Square or tapered?

I have a set of recent Custom Bellows from UK, outside big end 16X16 inches, small end 10x10". 40" long, as delivered under 2" fully collapsed without frames.
