I'm pleased to announce another Tucson, Arizona 1 day Accelerated Wetplate Workshop! The date will be one Saturday or Sunday in May, to be determined based on participants.
By the end of the day, you will have learned everything you need to mix wetplate chemicals, pour plates, make successful exposures, and successfully varnish your plates. See the attached flyer for more on the curriculum. This is an intimate, hands on workshop taught by experienced wetplaters and training professionals. I have been doing collodion since 2007, and have done many public demonstrations and workshops, as well as shooting plates for years. I'm an Instructional Designer by trade, and know the needs of adult learners from over 20 years of creating task-based training. This is a fun event, and you'll learn in one day what it takes others months or years to perfect on their own.
