I am considering cold storage for my spare JOBO ATLs and Fujimoto CP-51s. I have drained all water form all water lines and coils. Does anyone know if cold storage will damage these machines?

Thanks for your thoughts…

Before all the regular know it all's chime in i will say that storage in a non climate control will be detrimental for your ATL. In reality, thats not a problem, because, just like after pulling your car or motorcycle out of long winter storage one usually replaces all fluids and consumables, you will want to replace all types of gaskets, grommets and other oil/lubricants.
The problem is that many of those are not easily accessible without a fairly extensive disassembly.
CatLABS can usually get you these parts, though there is some lead time in some cases.

Recently i saw a machine that was prestinely packed away for 4-5 years, which had every possible bracket and gasket dry rotted or broken. On older machines, the upper control head wiring suffers from corrosion due to pool material choices at the time, and lack of insulation for copper and brass connectors. Endless gremlins follow.

Then again they might be fine when you pull them out.

As for the fujimoto - i have no direct experience.
