How to use Calumet shutter tester on Speed Graphic?

hello,

Would anybody have an idea as to how I should use the Calumet Shutter Speed tester with a Speed Graphic? How do I deal with the focal plane shutter to measure if the speeds on the focal plane shutter are OK?

What on page 2 of the instructions is hard to understand?

Not mentioned in the manual, but the "eye" of the tester should be held against the ground glass and the shutter is fired.
