From what I could tell, it's an all-digital recreation of a 1920's-'40's Hollywood portrait studio. It would be wonderful to find such a high-end studio using film with an 8x10 or larger studio camera and appropriate lenses.

I was familiar with it when I lived there, but never visited.
It has been family-run for two or three generations, and to be photographed there is viewed, by French celebrities, as a sign that they've arrived.

They have nothing on you, Ari. I didn't see one shot of Kevin Bacon! ;)

The studio is in an old theater, the lighting, posing, and backgrounds, is what really attracted my attention.
Certainly LF in 1934....
Probably shot digital now, they still use Fresnel lights (no flash).
Click on "guided tour" there is a pic of the camera room.
