I just received a minolta auto-spot II digital. The metering works great, It gives an EV number in the viewfinder. However the digital exposure calculator somehow doesnt communicate and therefore doesnt work. I am thinking about returning the meter, but if I had a separate calculator, like something printed on cardboard, I could still use the meter.

Any ideas where I could find an ev calculator?

Darin,

I can't open pdf's at the moment (temporary problem) but I know one of these links has the template for your calculator.

Cheers,

Graeme

Darin,

Further to the posting above, the first one is the one I was looking for. Lucky, because the second link seems to be broken!

I use the dial to teach beginners how EVs work.

Thank you very much, this will work perfectly.

Coincidentally, I kinda like the EV system. The camera I used for my beginning B&W class was a minolta hi-matic that used the EV system. The apeture and shutter speed rings were stacked on top of each other, so you could grab both and turn them together. Very cool system.
