I don't know if this is the proper forum for this, however here it is. I visited an incredible photo show at The Frick museum in Pittsburgh on Saturday," Impressionist To Modernist, Masterworks of Early Photography". The showing includes original works by Stieglitz, Kasebier, Kuhn, and many of their contemporaries. Prints made of cyanotypes, carbon transfer, bromoil, gelatin silver, etc. dating from late 1880's to the very early 1900's. Wonderful original prints from the grand masters themselves! Definitely a must see if you are in the area, admission is free, and the showing runs until April 19 this year. I was nearly overwhelmed by the magnificent quality of the work, knowing the materials and methods available to them in the day.
