i'm seeing the following errors at the top of the page (above everything else) when I go to the advanced search page at http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/search.php

Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that of vB_Model::getLoadQuery() in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupmessage.php on line 261

Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupDiscussion::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with that of vB_Model::getLoadQuery() in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupdiscussion.php on line 337

The form below looks like it is not rendering correctly but fields looks to be there. I just noticed it within the last day or so. Is there something up with the site software? I'm using Firefox 33.1 on Windoze 7 and I am using the "Blackend" forum skin.

Same with OS-X Yosemite and Firefox.
Also similar messages when adding attachment.

They are warnings, not errors, which speaks to the robust nature of the code. It has been a long time since I worked with PHP but it is likely easy to fix.

I alerted Tom so he can look into this.

Sorry, folks. It was a side-effect from a minor version upgrade I did Sunday morning. Should be all better now.

I'm just disappointed that when you search "magnification formula" you don't find the thread called "magnification formula" from 2004, etc.
Actually, I just went to find the thread again, which I looked at yesterday, and where yesterday I had 26 pages of posts, now there are only 24, and my contribution to the thread was on P25 of my total posts.
I knew old FS posts eventually disappeared, but maybe now regular posts go off somewhere to die as well? (not complaining, just wishing some of the good old info posted over the years was at least easier to find.)

Tracy, use Google Advanced Search (http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en) and enter http://www.largeformatphotography.info in the "site or domain" box. This works much better than the site's search functions.

I just tried your search, the thread you want was the first hit. http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?9183-magnification-formula

Thanks Dan, I forget to use Google instead of the sites own search function. And I am back up to 26 pages of results as well, maybe something else was going on at the same time.
