4x5 adapter for Toyo metal field 4 3/4 x 6 1/2

Hi, I don't know if this of anybody's interest, but I'm building an adapter for a Toyo metal field that allows me to use the Toyo 4x5 revolving back on it.

Here's the pieces, cut, milled, drilled and tapped. The mating plate is 3mm thick aluminium and the rim is 5mm.

Assembled. The plate has a groove to fit it to the camera. Snug fit.

Attached to the camera. I'm going put some sort of gasket between the aluminium parts. Probably tar paper, since I have a roll. Don't know have to try it out.

With the revolving back on. The plate is still missing fixings that will hold the back. Going to hack something together tomorrow. And the inner faces will be coated with matte black.

I'd hate to see nice machine work like that screws up with tar paper. How about peel and stick foam sheet cut into strips instead? Or peel n stick felt? Both can be had at craft stores or eBay. Good luck
