Base Tilt Vs Axial Tilt

I have 5 LF cameras - all Toyo's. Some have axil tilt and some have base tilt and one has both axil and base tilt! What's the pro's and cons of one over the other and what's the benefit of having both on the same camera?

Axis tilt requires less refocusing. Base tilt may offer extra bellows extension if axis tilt is available to straighten out the standards..

If one has the base tilt below the swing point then that one is yaw free. All the others are yaw prone.

In my experience with field cameras, base tilt design can be simpler and weigh less. Base tilt design can be used to increase bellows draw beyond the limit of the standard. Base tilt can make the camera fold easier. As mentioned, axial tilt can be used with less re-focusing. Combine base tilt with axial tilt and you can have advantages of both with a little increase in weight.

I have both types of cameras. Tilts are a bit faster with axis tilt, and I'm rarely worried about needing to be yaw-free in real-world field applications, but otherwise, I
don't even seem to pay attention to any of this. I now work so spontaneously with either type camera that it's a non-issue. Having BOTH might be nice in a studio,
but out in the field just adds more weight and complexity.
