Hello everyone!

This is my first post, so let me start by saying it's really great to have found this knowledgeable forum. I have purchased a privately owned Precision II scanner, that came complete with an old version of ColorFlex (v 1.9) and I am currently setting up my SCSI configuration.

My setup is:

- Power Mac G4 using OS 9 operating system
- Adaptec 2930 original card for Mac
- The scanner is the only SCSI device in the chain, using device ID number 4

Given the version of ColorFlex that came with the software is quite old, I downloaded a fresh copy of FlexColor v 3.6.6 from the online software archive and managed to get it working. However, this version is not so stable in OS 9 and although color management has been improved from previous versions, it doesn't play so nice with the older Precision II.

After doing some research, I believe I need version 3.6.2 of FlexColor for my setup (more stability, better auto color and auto exposure for my particular scanner). Could anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can download this version?

Have been looking everywhere, any help would be much appreciated!

I'm running 4.0.3 Flexcolor (last version that supports Precision II) in Win7x64 with my Precision II. Might be better to run it on PC if you can only operate older versions in Os9.

But the older versions can be found here:

Though seems you are out of luck with the 3.6.2.

Auto Exposure? Can you adjust exposure on this scanner?

Discontinued software should be available on Hasselblad's website.

Bump your hardware up to at least Tiger OS10.4.1.1 on a SCSI connection. Seamless without a hitch. You will be able to received software update for the Precision II to become a Precision III. Again the software should be available along with different version of Flexcolor would be on Hasselblad's website.
