LED lighting

Does anyone have experience using LED lighting for still life or portraits shooting b&w film? I am not sure if LED works well with films or how many watts are required. Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes. Led's work just fine. I've been using multiple off the shelf led bulbs intended as household replacements in fixtures with Chimeras attached. I got mine at Costco for $4/ea, cut the diffusers off, put them in a four-socket head. 100 foot candles at 6ft w/o diffusion.
