Lock for pre-anniversary speed graflex fp release lever

Hi Everyone,

So my Speed was in a bag and it was inadvertently set to the closed setting. I use a standard lens and shutter combo and do not use the fp shutter much (yet).

Does anyone have a suggestion for locking the release lever for the focal plane shutter on the Speed? I was thinking of a small screw c-lock but haven't found the right one yet. Maybe dental floss may work to tie it down but an easy reversal solution would be my preference.

Whatever you do, make sure the shutter tension is all the way down if you're not going to using it.
Mine was tied with string when I got it, so......you've at least got company on your thinking. A single edge razor blade will make short work of dental floss if/when you change your mind.
