scsi card with screen cezanne with color genius 2 on mac os 10.4

Hello,

I am using color genius v.2.7 on a mac g4 with os 10.4 (tiger),
does anyone now if the adaptec 2906 scsi card will work with this combination?

I can acces my screen cezanne ft-s5000 to check the maintanance but when I start the server aplication of color genius my mac crqashes and asks me to restart?

anyone using the adaptec 2906 eith color genius on mac 10.4?

Hi Barry,

When Screen released version 2.0.7 of ColorGeniusEX it was said to work with OSX 10.3. I cannot validate if this software will work with 10.4.

I do know that Screen included the SCSI driver v. 1.30 in the "Goodies" folder on the software CD. You might want to confirm that you have this driver on your software CD. The v. 1.30 driver supports the Adaptec Power Domain 29160N SCSI card. You can pick up the 32-bit Mac version of this card at a good price if you search the internet. It might be worth trying the 29160N and see if it will work with OS 10.4. If not, you will be forced to use OS 10.3.
