Today is “Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day 2014” (WPPD2014): Sunday April 27th, 2014.

So NedL and I would like to ask you all to post a link here to your pinhole photograph from this day, as soon as you uploaded it to the WPPD Gallery (see also: http://www.pinholeday.org/participate/). You could also post some images here, if you like.

And remember: you can tinker up a simple pinhole camera and get some film or photo paper to shoot with.
Need help, tips or inspiration? Check this out: http://www.pinholeday.org/support/

What is WPPD-2014 about?
New to pinhole photography or WPPD?
“Anyone, anywhere in the world, who makes a pinhole photograph on the last Sunday in April, can scan it and upload it to this website where it will become part of the annual Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day celebration's online gallery.” http://www.pinholeday.org
There will be several workshops all around the world on this day. You don’t have to have experience or a pinhole camera yourself, there are often extra cameras available to use (but ask in advance). You can locate a local event here: http://www.pinholeday.org/events/index.php

I slept in and then went out with my 4x5. I would have taken some pinhole shots specially for the day, if I'd known about it in advance.

Post a week early next year, if you think about it.

I was part of a small gathering, we made some cameras and shot film. This weekend we'll be together for World Wet Plate day.

I made a camera the night before. it rained off and on all day here in portland, so I had a hard time finding the right exposure (after fixing light leaks!). We had a sunny day the next day though and I got some ok exposures. I'll post some in the next few days.

Took the Harman Titan, and shot some Fomapan 100 at the old leather factory.

I shot a lot of 120, but a few sheets got exposed in my Titan, at a small car club get together. This neg looked the best, so I made a gum print today.

As promised, some iffy shots from the pinhole camera i made the night before WPPD

this was the first shot ( as seen in the picture of the camera posted previously ) I built in some rise, so the pinhole kinda overshot my subject matter, whoops.

definitely got light leaks, but some flocking paper has been helpful.

been a fun adventure!
