analog densitometers

I'm looking for a densitometer and have "seen" (on EBay) older Kodak Analog dens itometers. Any comments as to their accuracy and ability to read to +/-.02? I'd rather by a digital all things considered. George

We used analog densitometers for years in the Navy. They worked just fine. Be sure you get a manual listing the tube types and a schematic with the unit. Calibrated a few times a day to a good step wedge, and with the meter in good shape, you should have no problem.
