Dismantling Cells

Please can anyone tell me how Turner Reich cells are dismantled prior to separation for recementing?

I'll watch this with interest :D I have one as well that in the long term could do with recemeting.

I have torn my hands and a pair of rubber gloves to shreds trying to untwist the rear of the cells to no avail. I daren't heat them yet as they might simply separate whilst still in the assembly!

I have torn my hands and a pair of rubber gloves to shreds trying to untwist the rear of the cells to no avail. That suggests they used a thread locker of some sort.

I would not advise using excessive force.

Better to determine the type of locking agent used and find a suitable solvent.
