Georgia O'Keefe, Stieglitz, Weston, Adams, Cunningham Exhibit

at the University of Michigan Museum of Art. Exhibit is in its last week! Excellent. Explores the influences of Stieglitz et al. on O'Keefe. About 6 Adams' prints, 5 EW's, a dozen of Cunningham's flowers/still lifes, and a dozen Stieglitz "Equivalents" in 4x5 size. Also a number of Stieglitz prints of O'Keefe at work, etc. The movie associated with the Exhibit afforded me insight into the way she saw and painted.

i jump whenever there'a chance to see stieglitz's equivalents ... there aren't that many of them out there. a few here in collections in nyc, and they have a nice collection at the art museum in santa fe.
