Greetings,

I intend to donate my Elwood, in all its 7 foot greatness, to the photography school at my alma mater. Can anyone suggest a reasonable deduction? It is in great shape, still usable, complete with glass neg carriers and a Velostigmat 6 1/2 focus Wollensak lense that is as sharp as the first time I used it __ years ago. O.K. It was 50 years ago. It sets on a custom made (circa 1930) table and has the orginal style light bulb. Any ideas?

All depends. I have 4 Elwood's, I got them all this year. 2 very nice 5X7 and 2 user condition 8x10's.

I paid $150 including shipping for a pristine 5x7 and was given the other 3 by a stranger. I use 2 and restore the other 2.

Many people have a hard time selling them at any price.

I find that the monetary cost of an Elwood Enlarger is roughly the equivalent of what a freight company will charge to crate and deliver it to wherever you're sending it.
That said, mine is priceless.
