I did a search on here and found an old for sale reference but that was it.
Anyone here ever used or even handled one so you can tell me about it?

If you're referring to this one (http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?67791-FS-Panfield-4x5-camera/), I'm still kicking myself for selling it. I used it for about a year. It is a great design, very light and compact, and sturdy enough for a Betterlight. It is a great camera for architecture.
