This summer the water taxi service has reached Goose Island at North Avenue, making river cruising affordable and interesting.

And you can take the taxis south to Ping Tom Park at 18th Street. Traffic on the river is getting a bit congested what with all the commercial boats and the kayakers in their ubiquitous orange plastic craft...
