What products do they make? What does this mean for us?

This is fairly old news by now. But they made color products, including Ilfochrome (formerly Cibachrome) and a line of RA4 papers, plus a bunch of inkjet stuff. Like
Kodak, they might be broken up into new viable components, though Ilfochrome is almost certainly going extinct (officially, it already is). Only a few people still make
a living on Cibachrome and they were well forewarned.... so the impact on the rest of us is probably not even going to be noticed. There are alternate sources.

Ilford Imaging, Switzerland makes Galerie ink-jet paper and has nothing to do with Ilford photo, UK.
