With large format, a low budget has nothing to do with getting great results in your photography. If the camera can be made light-tight, you're good to go! I came across something Ansel Adams said in an interview: "Knowing what I know now, any photographer worth his salt could make some beautiful things with pinhole cameras."

So whenever you read people babbling about one lens or another, remember what he said.

Looks like you are off to a great start.
My lenses and camera are older than me and I am 64.
To me equipment does not matter, as long as it works.
Results are what counts and you have good results.
Keep shooting.
I look forward to seeing more of your photos.

I really like this way of photo!
I was out with the boat today, made some shots and will put them up as soon as they are dry.
Rather interesting to have a stand and everything in the boat and wait for still moments :)
Used hp5 on 800 iso.
