We are heading to the Amon Carter on Saturday morning, March 16. There is a new exhibit, "Big Pictures", that opened on last week Tuesday and runs through the 3rd week in April. We will meet at the museum at 10AM. Following our visit we'll head over to Lucille's for one of their wonderful lunches. I figure about 11:30 at the latest.

And, yes we need to firm up some Spring photography dates. Before we know it, it will be 100+ degrees again.

Please let me know if you can make it to Lucille's ; I will call them Friday morning to reserve a table.

Have a great week y'all

The numbers continue to grow. Also, anyone attending the Texas PPA is invited to join us too. That's in Arlington, TX just 18 miles East of the Amon Carter Museum where we are meeting. Just let us know you're coming and we'll reserve you a seat for lunch.

We missed you..
Show was great. But, there is side show of early Polaroid images that is stunning. Fellowship was great, food was wonderful. Made for a great morning.
We have two events in the work as a result of yesterday's get together!

The temps are in the seventies, you just need to get up early enough. ;-)

Of course 96% humidity kind of puts a damper on things. Right now we're at 72.5 and dew point is 71.3, so it is kind of dry. ;-) Right now the morning looks like the picture at the top of this page: http://www.watershipfarm.com/

Isn't winter ALWAYS coming in North Dakota?

My wife, even as we speak, is in Minnesota/ North Dakota visiting relatives. Last week, her aunt told her that it was very warm, so she packed accordingly. Apparently, this week they are having record low temps and she is wearing "layers".

Unfortunately, Michael Kan is the (current) driving force behind these gatherings, and he seems to be traveling out of the country about 98% of the time. I understand he's back in town near the end of the month.

Maybe someone else needs to step up and suggest a get together? Local temps should be mellowing in a few weeks.

Hello there! Are any DFW gatherings being planned in the near future? I've recently acquired a 4x5 and am anxious to learn as much as I can. My interest is mostly architectural and cityscapes. I'm in Fort Worth but I'm not one of those folks who won't pass county lines for a good cup of coffee. ;) Please let me know if anyone is interested in meeting.
